About This Course

ComplyEQ’s Bloodborne Pathogens course helps employees understand the risks associated with exposure to potentially infectious materials and how to respond safely and appropriately. Designed for employees who may encounter blood or other bodily fluids on the job, the course builds foundational knowledge around what bloodborne pathogens are, how exposure occurs, and the steps individuals can take to reduce risk in realistic workplace situations.

Through practical guidance and clear explanations, learners explore best practices for preventing exposure, handling contaminated materials, and following their organization’s exposure control plan. The course also reinforces what to do if an exposure incident occurs, empowering employees to act quickly, protect themselves and others, and support a safer, more compliant workplace.

Skill-building scenario – These are realistic character-based scenarios with a description of the situation, usually 2-3 answer choices, and feedback for each answer choice. Learners generally must select the correct answer to proceed.
