About This Course

ComplyEQ’s Preventing Harassment and Discrimination in the Workplace for Supervisors course equips managers with the knowledge and practical skills they need to prevent, recognize, and respond to harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. Through immersive, scenario‑based training, supervisors learn their expanded responsibilities, how to handle concerns appropriately, and how to foster a respectful, inclusive workplace culture—while reinforcing key legal expectations at the federal, state, and local levels.

For organizations that need a shorter training option, the Gateway for Supervisors course delivers a condensed version of the full supervisors course, while maintaining the core concepts and supervisor‑specific duties. Designed to be efficient without sacrificing impact, the Gateway course is ideal for refresher training or jurisdictions without extended seat‑time requirements, helping organizations train supervisors effectively while balancing time and compliance needs.

Skill-building scenario – These are realistic character-based scenarios with a description of the situation, usually 2-3 answer choices, and feedback for each answer choice. Learners generally must select the correct answer to proceed.

This page covers the early warning signs of harassment and discrimination in the workplace.

This page covers how supervisors can better accommodate employees with different needs to promote a more inclusive workplace.

Legal Compliance by State

ComplyEQ’s training is built to meet or exceed harassment training legal requirements in California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Maine, and New York, including New York City and Chicago. The training covers jurisdictions with both one-hour time mandates (CA, CT, Chicago) and those without a required training duration (NYC, NY, DE, ME, IL). The Gateway course covers mandates in DE, IL (outside Chicago), ME, and NY (including NYC), and the full-length course covers those four states plus CA, CT, and Chicago.
