About This Course

Workplace harassment is a pervasive issue that can create a toxic work environment, negatively impacting employee morale and productivity. To combat workplace harassment, it is critical to provide comprehensive training to all employees, including managers and supervisors. Inspire action with our online Preventing Harassment and Discrimination in the Workplace suite of courses. Instead of lecturing employees on what not to do, this immersive, scenario-based training builds the practical skills people need to create and sustain a respectful, harassment-free culture.

We provide four different versions of our signature training content in traditional and Gateway (condensed) formats, including:

Skill-building scenario – These are realistic character-based scenarios with a description of the situation, usually 2-3 answer choices, and feedback for each answer choice. Learners generally must select the correct answer to proceed.

Branching video – A “choose your own path” video series. Learners have to select a correct path; if they select an incorrect path, they are prompted to select another path after watching the incorrect outcome.

Interview-style video – Interviews with both subject matter experts and employees that share personal experiences from their point of view.

Accordion – Component used to chunk information under headers and allow learners to expand the content under each concept one at a time.

Carousel – Component that resembles a slide deck, where learners read the concepts one slide at a time.

Legal Compliance by State

ComplyEQ’s training is built to meet or exceed harassment training legal requirements in California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Maine, and New York, including New York City and Chicago. The training covers jurisdictions with both one-hour time mandates (CA, CT, Chicago) and those without a required training duration (NYC, NY, DE, ME, IL). The Gateway courses cover mandates in DE, IL (outside Chicago), ME, and NY (including NYC), and the full-length courses cover those four states plus CA, CT, and Chicago.
